Individuals over 18 years old and have indefinite leave to remain in the UK or have acquired a right of permanent residence in the UK may be eligible to apply for British Citizenship by Naturalisation, without gives you the right to live and work in the UK permanently, without any immigration restrictions.

 

You need to prove that:

 

  • You were in the United Kingdom on the 5th anniversary of the day you submitted your application;
  • During the last five years, you have not outside the UK for more than 450 days;
  • You have not been in the UK in breach of the immigration laws at any time during that previous 3 or 5 years;
  • You have not been out of the country for more than 90 days in the preceding 12 months;
  • At the time of your application, you are not subject to any time limits on how long you can stay in the UK.
  • You are of a good character;
  • You have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK;
  • You have two appropriate referees for your application.
